French actress and fashion icon Marion Cotillard is designing her own handbag for Christian Dior! Would you buy it if you could?

Would you carry a handbag designed by Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard? Because you’re soon going to get the chance to do just that!
According to Vogue UK, Marion is designing her own handbag for Christian Dior. The bag will be her personal take on the classic Lady Dior Bag—of which, by the way, she’s currently the face. Coincidence? Probably not. Here’s the Lady Dior Bag:
Given the French actress’ impeccable sense of style, we’re betting that she’s got what it takes to design something fabulous. But what will it look like, specifically?
“Actually,” Marion revealed recently in a behind-the-scenes video, “I’m torn between a rock and roll type or something extremely simple. Either way, though, she said she would “still like to put a strong Dior symbol on it.” But of course! Apparently she’s currently digging houndstooth, velvet, and quilting, and she counts a photograph she took of trees and a winter night sky as inspiration.

Dior, for their part, considers the collaboration a natural extension of their existing relationship. “She has been the face of the Lady Dior Bag since 2008, the epitome of a sophisticated and vibrant woman,” stated the company in a note attached to the video. “It was, of course, completely natural that Marion Cotillard would go on to design her own bag, her personal Lady Dior, as modern as it is timeless.”
